The deep rich brown color of this wood definitely reminds us of Sicily’s volcanic fertile soil produced by the Mount Etna dominating the Island. As intense as a glass of Chianti, our Sicily hardwood displays a complex character and rich tones.
The 9.5 inches wide and 7 feet long planks boast a thick 4 mm wear layer. The finish, a UV Oil, is ecological and environmentally friendly and allows for easy maintenance. The texturing technique used on this floor called wire brushing reveals the soft grain of the wood and creates a seasoned aesthetic.
NOTE: This exquisite collection features advanced reactive stain technology. This unique stain reacts distinctively to the natural tannins in European Oak. This can result in a high likelihood of color variation in each sample and from plank to plank within flooring orders.
