Nestled into the foothills of “America’s Finest City”, this iconic home features a one-of-a-kind flooring design crafted by Abbey Carpet of San Diego.
Creating a design that floored the new homeowners was no easy task. After being shown dozens of flooring options in nearly every color, pattern, and style, the homeowners opted for a light-toned, herringbone hardwood floor – Nesso.
Perhaps one of the most exciting parts of this design is the basketweave parquet pattern inlaid with hand-crafted carrara marble tile. This unique parquetry design was installed in four key areas of the home, ensuring that the residents and their visitors couldn’t miss it.
Moving on to the kitchen one will find a beautiful herringbone parquet while the rest of the home is straight lay Nesso planks.
Overall, the project took 4 weeks to complete and the final result speaks for itself. Truly stunning design!
